Yet Another Year

It has been almost a month since I last updated this thing. Let's blame it on exams!

I can't remember anything specific that took place in the holidays as all the events felt as if they took place in a time of their own after 2010 and before 2011 i.e. I don't know where to start!

I visited my dad's best friend's house. This is only being mentioned as I finally had a fizzy drink for the first time in YEARS. I was forced to. Eww. And I think it was Pepsi Max. See, I can't even remember which one it was! All I do know is that Diet Coke is the best of the Coke/Pepsi varations - NOT normal Pepsi like someone will undoubtedly suggest. Pfftt!


Also...an Xbox was bought! Yes, we finally replaced our Xbox! I didn't get much of a chance to play. That'll be in 2.5 weeks' time after my exams. But...yeah... The 4GB variant. Much smaller. Black. ...Yeah...ahem.

What else...hmm...

I have been revising. LAAAME. So that covers that I think. 6 exams in the next 2-3 weeks. My first set of exams in a year. Meaning they could end up being an utter disaster.

David O. Russell's 1996 screwball comedy "Flirting With Disaster" starring an excellent ensemble cast led by Ben Stiller and Patricia Arquette is probably my new favourite film. Although I shall rewatch that other particular film soon, ahem...

Two seasons of Boston Legal were acquired on DVD. I watched a big chunk of the middle of the series and had never gone back to it despite it being a complete delight to watch. Don't know why I didn't revisit it earlier.


I can't think of anything else that's interesting at this point. Simply put: many things happened during the holiday and that kept me away from blogging. There. Done. Boom.

OH. I have so far watched only the pilot of Felicity, the now-finished series that ran from 1998 to 2002 starring Keri Russell, and it's brilliant! It was apparently an excellent series which I never got around watching in the past. Not when it originally aired, as I was only 7-years-old, but after that. And now I'm back to "looking into it" almost 10 years after it ended. Wonderful. (Also, just looking for an image to place from the show and I stumbled across another blog whose author also just started watching the show, 10 years out...!)


I shall be posting my year-end list of favourite albums/films within the next 1-2 months. Damn you exams.


Well I can't give a year in review because 2010 was such a blur beyond comprehension.

Starting with resitting A2 exams. My cousins' weddings. UCAS (i.e. HELL). Getting my first job. Working at my first job. A2 exam results and the following shite-storm. The summer. Leaving work. Starting university. And now the new year...
