Konnichiwa!
So what's happened? NOTHING. That's what.
Well, exams. And GAWD, what a pain in the ass they are. Every year. Well, every 6 months.
So how were these exams in the end Emad? Put it this way, when I was saying goodbye to a friend today after our last paper, he said "Well...see you at the resits". Fun! Having said that, stupid statistics remained stupid as I (along with many others I'm guessing) passed the module based on coursework alone. Fun, also.
I am TWENTY! So damn old, I dislike this! Anyone else care to join me? The only significant thing about how it was ruined THIS year (usually it's exams of course) is how it was celebrated. I had a break (ha, I say break...) between my exams of around 9 days so I went home. And for the first time ever, my family actually surprised me with a mini-party! This was fun because there was cake.
More exams after that when I came back to Newcastle. Blaah...what else (yes I am just stream-of-conscioussness-ing this, I had an exam today damnit!)...
Oh, Luke and I paid another visit to the cinema today (straight after the exam, ahem) to watch X-Men: First Class. How bad is it? It's pretty decent! James McAvoy, yet another acceptable Scottish person, ahem! Michael Fassbender looked pretty much like Ian McKellen by the end of it all. And my oh my. I won't spoil anything by giving the details but there's possibly the most disturbing death scene in a film even in this 12A-rated picture. Kevin Bacon who plays...that helmet guy (I'm seriously refined...seriously) goes through a Saw-like death. You'll be astonished as to how a 5-year-old can watch this with an adult.
Well I would blabber on about much more here but I seriously cannot think of anything interesting to say. That's what exams do to people. RACIST! Etc. Meh, that was pretty lame.
I may not have a photo of my desk with work-in-progress written all over it like certain people due to lack of a good camera right now... But I shall leave you with this!
Yep, totally my style of music...but this is seriously awesome, and a perfect post-exam season song.
Now, I must pack and tidy up before finally returning to the promise land that is West Yorkshire. Time to have some green tea again. Hopefully get a new replacement phone. And...yeah.
Storyville documentaries! AWESOME. Right?!
Sweet dreams.
Emad.

Pahahaha, I laughed out loud at the title of this :)! And then because I'm a sad git and I can't remember my Roman numerals I Googled 'MMXXVII'. Apparently this is part 2022!
It is the most depressing thing in life that exams occur every six months. Thanks for the reminder (Y)! Aren't resits fun?! I had to fill out a form to sit mine in August, absolutely soul-destroying :(. But hopefully you won't need to sit any!
I'm sorry - 'acceptable' Scottish person?! If I could think of a good counterargument I'd be much more indignant...
But you do have to pack, so maybe that's punishment enough? I would not envy anyone that job. Still, at least you're packing for home and not for... exam hibernation *shudders*.
And yes, you are old.
P.S, I'm intrigued by this grisly death but have absolutely no intention of going to see the film. Can you just whisper it to me?! I won't tell.
Haha, I actually didn't bother working out the Roman numerals there. I thought it would be 2027. Oh well. Pfft to Google - use Bing! Just because of the INSANE photos they have every day.
You had to fill out a form? As in...the resit was that easy or you had to in order to be allowed to resit? But yes, they are evil! EVIL. Etc.
Haha, Scottish people are insanely awesome, don't worry. I think I would prefer to be in Scotland than in Newcastle to study, just because of how difficult it is to understand people. And despite people being nice in both places, Scottish people are usually excellent =)
Oh packing is horrible and annoying but fun because yes, bye-bye! YORKSHIRE is the place once again.
(P.S. So as to avoid spoiling the death scene, I've emailed you at the address listed in your profile. *Shudders*!)
Fml, it was 2027. I missed the V. Sigh.
As in, 'apply here to fail - AGAIN'. It was demoralizing, I tell you :(. LOL, oh God, I know I can hardly talk since I'm from Glasgow, but I'd actually need a translator if I was in Newcastle - how DO you cope?! If you haven't before, you should watch some Kevin Bridges. He's hilarious, and he used to go to my school... Note to self: quit the flagrant name dropping.
And cheers for the email, it was most disturbing!
At least they're over now. Just enjoy the time before the inevitable resit letter (I'm talking to myself there, not to you. You're going to be fine!!!! Stop worrying)
XMen was an AMAZING film!!!! I totally loved every moment of it. TBH I've never seen James McAvoy mess a film up. I like him :) But yes, the death scene was most gruesome...
Smile, they're over. Sleep. Eat. Forget about the exams. You can't change it. And don't worry, "see you at resits" is how we all said goodbye to each other too :)
