Enjoying the Cold, Wet, British Summer...

Konnichiwa!

Where to begin etc. Well, the delay in blogging = I had no computer! It died! But I have a new one now! Yay! So a sad farewell to Tinge of Red indeed. My new computer is still nameless... But it took a little over a month to get my new computer from Currys. Shall go through this anecdote in my next post!

And I have a new phone! So gadgets all around. My Palm Pre Plus was slowly dying and then just...gave up. Interesting sidenote: it took 9 weeks for O2 to get their act together and give me a replacement. Yup... But hello Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc! Excellent hardware with crappy (SERIOUSLY crappy) Android. Fun! So O2 are...well, let's not use angry words now. Upgrading in 4 months' time is going to be fun...

I HAVE MADE THINGS!

Virtually a solo task. Wonderful, chewy and soft cookies! Note: buy plenty of chocolate chips so you don't have to use your stash of huge Galaxy chocolate bars. I won't name this person. But her name begins with an "h"... Anyhow, the recipe is from here: ...okay, looks like I cannot find the website where I got the recipe. DAMNIT etc. (UPDATE: It's here!) But anyhow, splendid cookies, seriously. Just don't use a giant plastic spoon to lightly mix the dough as it eventually becomes one giant slab and therefore the spoon will snap and your mother may be ticked off slightly... Ahem!

Shockingly, everyone liked them. Better than that attempt of making banana chocolate chip muffins last year with very little sugar... And I have to point out the photo does not do justice here! I was in a hurry trying to get the second tray out of the oven before they became un-cookies. I don't think the camera was even in macro mode.

What else has been happening... Crikey, it's been so long. I am back at home of course, as my last post was the day of my last exam.

Erm...Portal 2 is an amazing game as is Crysis 2??

Oh, I saw a "full" dead cat on the side of the road a number of weeks ago. It was horrible. But it wasn't squished with its insides all over the road which is what usually happens with hedgehogs and foxes etc. Just nasty nevertheless...

Emmy nominations tomorrow? Bored to Death, Community and Parks & Recreation have to be there! And Joel McHale...

I have a lot to read. A heck of a lot. And when I last went to HMV I decided to buy another book like an idiot too. Damnit.

Oh, I have a new cool pair of trainers! This is pointless but worth mentioning because it took me weeks to decide which pair to buy. Very fun.

Hmm...I'll be blogging very soon so maybe I'll be able to remember something more interesting.

I was in a car accident! I think the third or fourth where I've been a passenger... Anyhow, everyone was fine and it was the other person's fault, so don't worry. Moving on swiftly! Ha, I apolgise. But yes. Erm...we are all indeed fine. Woo to that.

Oh, I had 6 Oatabix biscuits/pieces today? Yup, every diet needs fibre... I beat my "record" I set only the other day of 5. ...Look, I need to lose weight people!

Okay I'll stop. But I'm back! And still alive! So hello to you all once again!

Sweet Dreams.

Emad.

Hello!
You need a name for the new computer..! How has this not been a priority?! I nominate Maisy.
At least the tech saga is over now..!
And YAY on the cookies! You need to edit with the link..! And they taste better when you use a galaxy slab instead :D
I think you should have a picture of the awesome trainers.
And the car thing...just ouch. You'd better still be alive ¬_¬
(And stop with the fibre overload! lol)

@ItsComplicated
Woo to Blogger and the cool backgrounds!
It can be sad getting rid of old phones but I like the new-ness of the new phone so I don't mind too much lol.
THEY ARE COOKIES! =P
HMV have a load of books - mainly populat stuff and "classics" etc.
I am fine. Basically I am Bruce Willis in Unbreakable.

@Hummus
Maisy? That is a poor effort! Pfft =P
The link has been edited/added!
And nein, they are from Schuch so anyone THAT interested can guess from the website lol.

You know, I reckon if you prioritize blogging about new (pictureless) trainers and a dead cat you saw a few weeks ago over a CAR CRASH, perhaps you are not alright. Nevertheless, as long as you continue to entertain us, no harm done! Those cookies look YUM! If only I weren't a giant kitchen klutz I might try making some myself. Also, which book did you buy?! I enjoy details!

Fiiiine, here are the trainers people! http://schuh.co.uk/dcshoe-co/mens-khaki-dcshoe-co-pure-slim/3416534650 I now feel very girly and shoe-y for pasting this!
It wasn't a full on car crash! We're all fiiiine, seriously, it was nothing =)
And no, you will now make the cookies. OR ELSE! =P
The book is Journey to the Centre of the Earth by Jules Verne. Always wanted to read it. Have you?
And woo to details! =D

:O I LOVE those shoes. Bravo.

Fine, as soon as I get a fridge I will attempt to make the cookies, and then post a picture of my burnt down kitchen after the oven explodes, okay?

Ooooh nice! I think my dad read that to me when I was a kid. Pretty sure I liked it!

Lol, thanks =D
A fridge isn't required! But yes, make them and then take a photo of your NICE/NORMAL kitchen afterwards! =)
